Welcome to Illuminada Dental! We are conveniently located at 11911 Jasper Ave, a few doors down from the Starbucks and 5 minutes from downtown Edmonton. Our caring staff strive to make our office a relaxing environment for our patients to receive quality dental care. We offer a wide variety of cosmetic, orthodontic, endodontic, pediatric and general dentistry services, making Illuminada a one-stop for your entire family’s dental needs. Our dentist, Dr. Jou, focuses strongly on preventing dental maladies before they occur. We also do our best to accommodate any dental emergencies that may come up.
Our office is inclusive to patients of all ages. We believe that children’s primary teeth play an important role in speech development and development of good eating habits; for this reason we place emphasis on thorough care and prevention of decay. Our goal is to have our young patients keep their baby teeth until they fall out naturally, at which point the child will have learned proper oral hygiene techniques to ensure they keep their adult teeth for a lifetime. We use a gentle approach with children, and are sensitive to fears and anxieties young ones might have about going to the dentist in order to make it as pleasant an experience as possible.
As your child enters adolescence, we offer an array of orthodontic options to treat malalignment. We proudly offer the Invisalign system, which is a cost effective and discreet method of aligning teeth. We also offer orthodontic treatments to adults with great results.
We understand that aging and elderly patients are also at risk for developing decay and losing teeth. While tooth loss was once an accepted part of aging, we believe that with diligent care it’s possible for a patient’s teeth to last them a lifetime. We take special care with our aging patients to ensure that they receive the proper preventative care.
We have a full range of restorative dentistry options, such as crowns, fixed bridges, and porcelain veneers. We accept payment from major insurance providers, and for your convenience will help you fill out any necessary forms to ensure that you receive the appropriate coverage.
